Privacy Policy
Last updated: 1970-01-01
This Privacy Policy explains how Bot Master Pros LLC ("we", "us", "our"), operator of the ConnectPros application ("ConnectPros", the "Service"), collects, uses, and safeguards information when you use the Service.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: name, email, phone (optional), organization, role, and authentication identifiers.
- Organization content: members, groups, locations, messages, documents, events, check-ins, and other records you or your organization create in the Service.
- Device & usage data: IP address, browser, device type, pages visited, and diagnostic logs used to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
- Google account data: if you connect a Google account, we receive your basic profile (name, email, avatar) and the OAuth tokens needed to call the Google APIs you authorize.
- Google Classroom data: if you connect Google Classroom, we access courses, rosters, coursework (assignments), and student submissions for the accounts and children you are authorized to view. We only request the minimum scopes needed to display assignments and status inside ConnectPros.
2. How we use information
- To provide, secure, and improve the Service.
- To authenticate users and enforce organization-level access controls.
- To display Google Classroom courses and assignments to authorized parents, students, and staff.
- To send transactional notifications (email, push, in-app) related to your account and organization activity.
- To comply with legal obligations and prevent abuse.
3. Google user data & Limited Use
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:
- We only use Google user data (including Google Classroom courses, rosters, coursework, and submissions) to provide or improve user-facing features that are prominent in the ConnectPros interface.
- We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide or improve user-facing features, comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets with adequate notice to users.
- We do not use Google user data to serve advertisements.
- We do not allow humans to read Google user data unless we have your affirmative consent for specific messages, it is necessary for security purposes (such as investigating abuse), to comply with applicable law, or the data has been aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.
4. How we store and protect data
- All traffic is served over HTTPS/TLS. Data at rest is encrypted by our managed cloud provider.
- OAuth tokens for connected Google accounts are encrypted at the application layer before being stored.
- Row-level security enforces organization isolation at the database layer.
- Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel and is logged.
5. Sharing & sale of data
We do not sell your personal data or your organization's data. We share data only with subprocessors that help us operate the Service (hosting, database, email delivery, error monitoring), under contractual confidentiality and security obligations, or when required by law.
6. Data retention & deletion
We retain data for as long as your account or organization is active, or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data, or disconnect a linked Google account at any time, by emailing Dan@homeprosdenver.com. Verified deletion requests are honored within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements. Disconnecting Google Classroom removes stored OAuth tokens and synced Classroom data from ConnectPros.
7. Children & student data
When schools use ConnectPros, student-related records (including Google Classroom rosters and coursework) are handled under the direction of the school or district. Parents access their own children's information via authorized parent links. We do not use student data for advertising and do not sell student data.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Contact Dan@homeprosdenver.com to exercise these rights.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated within the Service or by email. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
